Maud Boesen

• Maud Boesen was born in 1981 in Denmark. She started painting from a very young age and it was partly inspired by her mom and uncle, who were photographer and musician.
• In 2002, Maud started her career as a professional artist and getting involved with many decoration projects on furnitures, houses, hotels, showrooms and etc., she had great success in it.
• In 2007, she moved to China with her husband, and they have been living and working in Shanghai since then.
• Maud creats the contrast between the light and the dark as well as the warm and the cold colours. She combines specific lines and different shapes with a wide range of colours to express a certain calm and balance. Her modern abstract paintings convey strong feelings and emotions to the viewers.
