Emerging female artist Mia, shows us an unique way to depict a contemporary image of traditional Chinese Beijing Opera. The detailed patterns of Beijing Opera costume as well as the headwear bring out the delicacy of Chinese art. By leaving the face blank, the artist is encouraging the viewer to paint in their mind the expressions adopted by the singer.

青年女画家米娅用独特的现当代手法刻画了中国传统戏剧舞台上的京剧演员。画家用绚丽的油画色彩再现了传统戏剧服装与头饰的华丽与精致。

画面中除了演员的嘴形之外，其余的脸部特征均为空白。画家希望观能者从演员的不同扮相中去想象当时演员表演时的具体面部表情与唱腔
