“Less is More” — Mou Huan Solo Exhibition

After living in Germany for ten years, Chinese contemporary artist Mouhuan returned to China to show his latest works. As early as1988, together with Zhangxiaogang, he was already one of the earliest pioneers of China’s contemporary art scene.

Mouhuan’s painting is devoted to visionary and surreal phenomena. He uses simple colour to show the connection of mutual spaces, light and shadow. His painting shows the movement of a suspended time, which leaves us more space of definition and imagination.

旅德画家牟桓，用看似简单的颜色和各种相邻的空间，来表现画面中光与影、比例与结构的关系。以极简主义的风格，表现人物动态下的状态。

作为中国现当代艺术先锋之一，并曾与张晓刚等共同参加《1988西南现代艺术展》的牟桓，会带给我们更多的惊喜。
