“In Bloom”—Wang Xuejun Solo Exhibition

Graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Academy, artist Wangxuejun’s paintings show depictions of the various stages youth among his friends and foreigners, who are living in China. His works use a background of traditional Chinese peony with vibrant colours, recording the true feelings and thoughts in front of the camera of today’s new generation through self-taken photographs.

正当花开”—王学军个展

毕业于四川美院油画系的王学军，在两三年前开始关注周围的人群，并收集到了不同年龄群的自拍照片，发觉这才是他们最真实的肖像。于是诞生了他的“正当花开”系列。

在带着敬意临摹的宋人花鸟背景下，画家向大家展示了不同年龄层次的人群都拥有着属于自己激情绽放的那一刻，其中也包括了生活在中国并被中国文化所深深吸引的“老外”们。

“正当花开”系列是王学军用其当代审美眼光再现了中国千年前宋代花鸟绘画的精髓，并用他独特的方式记录了现代人的真实生活。
