Young contemporary artist Zenglingxin’s works depict a world where people in contemporary China enjoy the temptations and desire of luxury products, female beauty, privileges of a better material life in China’s modern cities. The strong contrast of vibrant colours in her paintings lead us into a world of dazzling luxury, yet leave us a question whether this really is a better life that we are chasing after.
