“Rendez-Vous 2017!” Maryam Aryan Solo Exhibition

Born in Iran, French artist Maryam Aryan’s second solo show continues exploring ones emotions from a number of Rendez-Vous (dates) experiences. Artist insists in portrait for life instead of taking photographs as a classic and traditional fine arts way to create her pieces by oil, acrylic, collage, ink, chalk and pastel on canvas, on wood, on paper…  Her brush strokes outline the visible and invisible curves around the nature or certain unspecific places to imagine the scene of ones’ first Rendez-Vous (date) through their bodies and emotions – often excited but a little shy and clumsy.

Rendez-Vous (Dating) with different people in different places; Rendez-Vous between Asia and Occident with their generosity and sensuality, this exhibition will take you the Rendez-Vous with French artist Maryam Aryan with full of surprises and excitements in 2017!

生于伊朗的法国艺术家Maryam Aryan在第二次的上海个展中将一如既往地从不同的约会经历中探索着不同的个人情感。艺术家坚持以传统经典的现场模特写生的方式来完成每一张作品。通过油画、丙烯、墨水、拼贴、粉笔和色粉等多样化的媒介与绘画技巧，将其作品融合在画布、木头和纸等材质上进行体现和诠释。艺术家通过其笔下勾勒出的有形或无形的身体曲线，想象并描绘出不同的人在大自然中或者某些不特定场所中的第一次约会场景与情感体验——往往是兴奋的，而又带有些许害羞和笨拙。

艺术家的此次展览相约于亚洲和西方文化的交融中，相约于不同的地方和不同的人们。在艺术家画笔下的他们所表现出的大方和感性面也不尽相同。本次展览将带领你一起去奔赴与Maryam Aryan的这场充满着惊喜和令人兴奋的约会！
